Author Biography: Simon Critchley is the author of The Book of Dead Philosophers, Continental Philosophy - A Very Short Introduction and What We Think About When We Think About Football, among other titles. He is Hans Jonas Professor of Philosophy at the New School in New York, and series moderator of 'The Stone', the New York Times philosophy column.
